Tuesday Swings

Decided to take a break from snatches today and just did some drop set swings

Warm Up: Pec Stretch, Stick Shrug, Face Pull, Rotational Scap Pull Aparts
HS Swing Drop Sets
-40kg, 32kg, 28kg, 24kg bells
-10 reps with each bell per set in 1 minute
- 30 seconds rest
-10 sets completed - 400 swings

So, you do 40 reps/min on the swing sets, then rest 30 seconds?

I want to give this a shot:)

Yeah Brad. These are Hardstyle 2 handed swings. I line the weights up in a row and work my way down the line. You have to really push it to complete the set in 1 minute, especially during the weight switches. Towards the end I would go over a few seconds.....not a big deal, but it does decrease your rest. I use a gymboss to keep me honest on the time intervals.

Using the Queen of Swing's theories helps break up the monotony of doing large volume swings. Each set is broken into 4 sets of 10 and before you know it you have done 400 swings in 15 minutes and are huffing and puffing....

It smoked me!! It was real tough for me to get all 40 in a minute, I think I made it once. First time I've ever done that many swings. I can see why you haven't lost your wind. I'm going to work that in once per week....Thanks!
