I am continuing to recover from the event with essentially no kettlebell lifting. I have been thinking of my new goals and how I plan to introduce the 28kg and 32kg bells into my GS training. Since I am heading on vacation in two weeks with my family for spring break, I think I will wait to start my new training cycle until I return. Over the next two weeks I plan to use the kettlebells to maintain my general fitness with no specific training goals.

From the results, it looks like "Pro" means 32kg for men and 16kg for women. Is this correct?
Wow Matt! Congrats to you! Impressive results, especially for your first time out. You have to be on top of the world! Rif wasn't kidding when he called you a "workhorse!"
Aaron that is correct. Although I think they are about to change things for the women - maybe to 20kg as the pro women are putting up huge numbers with the 16kg. I think amateur men will be moving to 28kg bell too. Masters (40yo to 59yo) is 24kg for men. You starting to think about giving it a try?
Renee thanks
Matt, for starters, I'm just trying to understand how the sport is played. Information can be hard to come by, even on this vast world-wide web of information we call the World Wide Web.
Thanks for the information. I'll be 40 this year, so that's good news for me!
Yeah, I'm starting to think about giving it a try. I'm willing to buy a DVD and start learning. Do you have any suggestions?
