Jerks And a Fall

Getting down to crunch time for Chicago. Only 4 more workouts until I rest for the comp. Today was jerks:

Warm Up: Rib Pulls/Arm Sweep
MP(16kg) 10/10
OAJ(20kg) 10/10
Jerk(20kg) 10
OAJ(24kg) 10/10
Jerk(24kg) 10
Jerk(28kg) 8 minutes - 8,8,8,8,8,6,8,6 - 60
Jerk(28kg) 2 minutes at 8 rpm

Really focused on a quick second dip to get under the weight. Jerks continue to feel strong.
Tonight, was grilling dinner when a large thunderstorm blew in......as I was running in to the house, I slipped on my slate patio and fell hitting my left elbow on a stone wall. I now have a 2 cm laceration on my left elbow.....hoping it will heal enough in one week to not interfere with my competition set.

man, shit like that always happens at the worse possible times, sorry. but I bet you won't even notice it when you step on the platform, no matter how much or little it has healed.
