Friday Is Better

I was a bit concerned about the planned 10 minute snatch set given how tender my hands were/are. This high volume snatching is taking its toll on my mits, especially by Friday. It would have been easy to just scratch the workout, but I decided to give it a go......

Warm Up
Jerk(28kg x 2) 5 minutes @ 7 rpm
Rest 10 minutes
Snatch(24kg) 10 minutes @ L16/16/16/16/16 ----> R16/16/16/16/16
OAJ(40kg) 10/10
Swing(40kg) 30/30 x 2
CC Full Squat 20/20 x 2

I was surprised that I was able to go the distance. I was able to get into the zone tonight and the time really passed quickly. OK, the 10th minute was tough with a fair amount of dead snatching, but my hands survived with no new damage. I was also happy with the OAJ and gutting out the swings with tender hands. The weekend will be a welcome rest.

Sometimes you dont know before,you just have to try!
Most of time,its depending of mental stage!

I can't agree more. GS require strong mental as well as physical strength.
