CMS Jerk Numbers Reached

After two light workouts and catching up on my sleep this weekend I was feeling re-energized today.  I was feeling strong after my warm up and decided to attempt 73 jerks with the 28kg bells for the first time.  This is my CMS target number.  I DID IT!  I completed 9 minutes at 8 rpm + 1 extra rep.  I felt strong for the entire set and probably could have done a 10th minute.  This is really a confidence builder.  I had the video rolling but my camera ran out of juice at about 8:15 of the set (classic).  For what it is worth the video that I did catch is below:

Warm Up: Tere major foam roll/rib pulls/arm sweep
OAJ(16kg) 10/10
OAJ(20kg) 10/10
Jerk(20kg) 10
OAJ(24kg) 10/10
Jerk(24kg) 10
Jerk(28kg) 8 rpm x 9 minutes + 1 rep - 73 total (CMS at 90kg)
Jerk(28kg) 8 rpm x 2 minutes
Swing(40kg) 30/30 x 1

I feel like my FMS thoracic spine drills are helping.  My overhead position is getting more comfortable and I feel like my arms are getting closer to my ears in the lockout.

Now it is time to focus on the snatches.

WOW--and there's still 21/2 months to go. Terrific Matt!

Congratulations, well done! At a good point in time too.
Your CMS work is very up-lifting (no pun :-) to follow.

Congratulations,

What's your email adress?

I'm interested in knowing how to proceed with the Rank I and the video submission.

Thanks.

Great job, Matt. Hey, I don't know too much about this stuff, but I won't be surprised when you're one of the best kettlebell lifters in the country.

On another note, I have to make an appearance tomorrow (i.e., go to work) and could really use some Demerol to get through the emotional pain. I prefer the injectable kind, but I'll settle for pills if that's all you can manage. Please make the prescription out to my dog, Elsa, to protect my privacy.

Just kidding, bro. Not about the lifting though.

Can't help you with the Demerol, but if you need some Diprivan to help you sleep, then maybe we can talk!

Never heard of Diprivan. What does it do?

It's probably best that you maintain your license and we both continue to live, all things considered.

But seriously, my dog could use a month's supply of Diprivan, and oxygen, and Lidocain if it's not too much bother. If it matters to you, I promise to pay you an obscene amount of money that I will never pay you.
